CELEBRATING BRANDS WITH PURPOSE

ENTRIES FOR THE 2022 AWARDS ARE NOW CLOSED

Welcome to Marie Claire UK’s second annual Sustainability Awards, a celebration of the brands, organisations, and products that are genuinely implementing change and building a better tomorrow.

Right now, brands have both the opportunity and responsibility to help consumers navigate their day-to-day lives with products and experiences that are designed with the earth in mind - without greenwashing or misleading.

That’s where the Marie Claire UK Sustainability Awards come in. If you’re a business with purpose, a sustainable start-up shaping its business model to be as ethical as possible, or a company going the extra mile to positively impact our planet, we want to hear from you and celebrate your hard work. There are categories spanning fashion, beauty, food & drink, health & wellness, travel & leisure, motors, weddings and more, and your entry will be judged by a panel of some of the best sustainability experts in the industry.

Post-pandemic, people are re-evaluating the way they spend their money. Never before have our spending habits been so important, as they have the potential to help us carve a path for next generations. Many know the time is now to refocus their sustainability goals, refresh what brands they back, and refine what products they invest in. Consumers are more conscious than ever of the dangers of climate change and are demanding that companies and brands not only address the problem but help them to overcome it, one step at a time.

At Marie Claire UK, we’ve been encouraging conscious consumption for over 30 years, long championing buying quality over quantity, reusing, and recycling - which is why we’re so keen to shout about the brands who share the same values.

Entries will be judged by team MC and their guest panel of over 50 of the most high-profile sustainability experts, business founders, thought leaders and activists in the business. Within each category a winner will be crowned and highly commended entries will be identified with a 'best practice' accolade. Winners and highly commended will then be announced via editorial on marieclaire.co.uk, plus will have the opportunity to purchase usage of the logo for marketing purposes. Winners will also receive a carbon neutral bamboo trophy. You're invited to tune into our virtual awards ceremony in July 2022, where we'll be offsetting our carbon footprint from the awards activity and planting a mangrove tree for every guest who tunes in.
