Charity Wakefield is an Actress and Producer best known for her role as ‘Georgina Dymova’ in The Great (Hulu/Channel 4), alongside Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult. She's also known for playing ‘Marianne Dashwood’ in the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, the Golden Globe and BAFTA winning, and Emmy nominated Wolf Hall. She made history as the first woman to play Shakespeare at The Globe in Nicole Charles’s ‘exhilarating’ all-female production of Emilia. Additional theatre credits include a ‘beautifully executed’ (LA Times) The Cherry Orchard at the Olivier Theatre. She is an ambassador for The Woodland Trust and is hugely passionate about environmental issues.
