FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The jury will be judging entries based on:

- Innovation and uniqueness in the market

- Environmental accreditations (e.g. B Corp, Cruelty Free, carbon neutral etc)

- End to end sustainability practices and methods, including and not limited to: ingredients, materials and packaging.  

- Fair labour 

Entries will be judged by the Marie Claire UK team and a selection of global experts, thought leaders and activists in sustainability. Individuals will be selected from our panel to judge the categories best suited to their knowledge and expertise. Judges will be asked to provide feedback and scores on all entries. The highest scoring product will win the category. 

You can enter your product into multiple relevant categories. One entry is £250 + VAT per brand/entry, per category. e.g. if you wanted to enter your brands product into Best Ethical Initiative and Best Carbon Footprint Initiative the cost would be £500 + VAT. Brands, products and initiatives can have been launched at any time. 

The entry deadline has been extended to 11:59pm on Friday 28 May 2021.

No, any brands or companies can enter, regardless of location. 

Winners will be notified by email w/e 25 June 2021. Winners will be celebrated at our virtual awards event w/c 19 July 2021. The winners are embargoed until after the virtual awards ceremony. Winners will also be announced to the Marie Claire UK community with exclusive content created by the editorial team, on a dedicated marieclaire.co.uk hair hub and social platforms.
