Check out our categories page to see which sector your product/s fall into. Then write out the USP for each product (max length: 100 words).

Click enter to create your account. After entering your personal details you can start submitting at stage 3. Simply list your product and it's USP then click continue. At stage 4 you can review all entries and submit more. 

Confirm your payment and you're all done! Send three physical samples for each product you enter to:

Marie Claire UK is committed to representing a diverse portrayal of beauty.  For the Hair Awards this is reflected by our judging panel, our democratic judging process and through our content.

Marie Claire UK is committed to sustainability and championing brands that are working towards a greener future. For the Hair Awards, we will be recycling and reusing packaging sent to us by brands entering products and using regular postage services over individual couriers wherever possible when sending judging packs. We also have categories dedicated to sustainability and will be announcing the winners with a carbon neutral virtual event.

Please post three products per entry (if you are entering a range or a brand category please send three of the hero product only).

For the entry samples for judging, the sender/entrant is required to cover any additional customs and tax costs. 

For the winner trophies, Marie Claire UK will cover any additional customs and tax costs.

You can enter your product into multiple relevant categories. One entry is £250 + VAT per product, per category. e.g. if you wanted to enter your brands product into Best Hair Innovation and Best Hair Oil the cost would be £500 + VAT. For most categories, products can be launched at any time, however entrants for the following categories must have been launched at any point during 2021:

The entry deadline has been extended to 6pm on Monday 17th January 2022

No, any companies can enter, regardless of location. Products need to be available to UK consumers.

Winning brands will be notified by email w/c Monday 21 March 2022. Winners will be celebrated at our virtual awards event in April 2022. The winners and highly commended are embargoed until after the virtual awards ceremony. Winners and highly commended will also be announced on marieclaire.co.uk

Entries will be judged by the Marie Claire UK beauty team and a selection of experts from our judging panel. Individuals will be selected from our panel to judge the category best suited to them, in terms of their hair type, knowledge and experience. Judges will be asked to test the products and provide scores based on efficacy, innovation and packaging (design and sustainability). The highest scoring product will win the category. Where the calibre is high enough there will also be a highly commended entry honoured.

In order to minimise waste and as part of our commitment to sustainability we will be re-using packaging that has been sent to the Marie Claire UK team. Products will be sent via local couriers where possible. All judges are UK based and we do not send products overseas.

Unfortunately we cannot return entry samples.
