Lalita, 32, founder and director of Eco Hustle Co Ltd, representing two eco friendly brands - Recycle Moi - first natural and biodegradable sanitary pads of Mauritius and Sakili - upcycle bags made of used billboards and banners.
Lalita studied business entrepreneurship at UNISA and the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and, is currently pursuing her MBA.
She started her career as trainee reporter at the age of 16 in a private radio station and has worked as reporter in several media groups for seven years before taking a leap to entrepreneurship.
Lalita is an active member of the Obama Foundation and also serves as Sustainable Coordinator for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).

Lalita is a One Young World Ambassador.
