Ayah is an international award-winning energy policy manager working in the energy distribution sector in Leeds. Being the first female solar energy in Jordan, Ayah played a major role in growing the renewable energy sector in the region legislatively and commercially while working with communities to realise the importance of shifting from electricity consumer to renewable electricity prosumers.
Ayah has two degrees in engineering and sustainability and is now addressing one of the UK’s biggest energy infrastructure problems, aging transformers. She is trying to help advance net zero by raising awareness and advocating to influence policies, funds and schemes.

Ayah is a One Young World Ambassador.
